A ‘Soul Food’ Sequel Is In The Making

Soul Food director George Tillman Jr is writing the script for the sequel,  titled More Soul Food. The sequel is focusing on the younger Joseph generation. The script will follow the young milenials as they navigate life in the new cell phone, social media crazed world.

Do you think, 18 years after the release of the original Soul Food, the sequel will draw much attention as the original? The original film, earning $43.7 million, was filled with an all star cast including Vanessa Williams, Nia Long, Vivica A. Fox, Mekhi Phifer, Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kudjoe. There has been no word on the release date and if the original cast will be on board.
