OJ Simpson Granted Parole for Las Vegas Robbery
After deliberation OJ Simpson has been granted parole by Nevada commissioners. He has been locked up more than 8 years for armed robbery and assault. According to reports, he has been a model prisoner. OJ’s reasoning for seeking paraole is so he can spend as much time possible with his family.
While in court he says;
Simpson said in his nine years behind bars, he’s been “a good guy.”
“I was always a good guy, but could have been a better Christian, and my commitment to change is to be a better Christian.”
He said he took an “alternative to violence” course in prison, and called it “the most important course anybody in this prison can take because it teaches you how to deal with conflict through conversation.”
“I had some problems with fidelity in my life, but I’ve always been a guy that pretty much got along with everybody,” he said.
A company that specializes in celebrity autographs is ready to sign up O.J. Simpson. He could make thousands of dollars just to appear at signing conventions. Despite his past, he could be in demand. OJ can be a free man as soon as Oct 1. Watch the deliberation below.
