T.I. and Tiny’s TV Show Saved from Cancellation

T.I. and Tiny’s reality show will be back for a 6th season. It will focus on the estranged couple’s efforts to co-parent in the aftermath of Tiny filing for divorce. They shot most of season 5 separately. They’ll be together more often next season.

TMZ spills tea;

We’re told the network met with producers about canceling the show, even though Tip and Tiny wanted to keep cameras rolling. Producers convinced VH1 execs the relationship drama could bring in a huge audience, and boom — the show was saved.
While they shot most of season 5 separately, our sources say they’ll be together more often next season. We’re told things are still strained for sure, but Tiny’s in no rush to finalize a divorce.
Tip said as much Tuesday when he slipped about where he was on Feb. 14.

T.I. Outraged By Over-affectionate Fan

Rapper T.I. lashed out at a fan from the stage at a gig in Winnipeg last weekend. The man reached up and smacked his butt. T.I. was performing Whatever You Like. The stunned rap star reprimanded the fan: “We came to have a good time, but I ain’t with the disrespect.”

T.I. And Queen Latifah Team Up For Restaurant Comedy

T.I. and Queen Latifah are teaming up to produce a restaurant-based comedy. T.I. and Mike Epps play brothers in The Trap. They attempt to save their family’s dilapidated restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. They have hired music video director Chris Robinson.


The Hollywood Reporter writes:

The Trap tells of a man (T.I.) who returns home to Atlanta after an extended absence to help save his brother (Epps) and mother’s run-down restaurant. An unexpected change to the chicken recipe breathes new life into the restaurant but also brings unexpected problems.

T.I. Launching Atlanta Strip Club

Rapper T.I. is expanding his business empire by launching a new strip club in Atlanta. Over the weekend, 1,600 exotic dancers turned out for auditions. 100 were selected. “V Live” is due to open later this month.

T.I. Reveals Baby Daughter’s name: “Heiress”

Rapper and actor T.I. has announced his daughter’s name on social media. Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. revealed he & wife Tameka Cottle, aka Tiny, named their baby girl ‘Heiress’. She was born March 26. The couple also share 11-year-old son King & 7-year-old son Major.
